Neighborhood Concert Series
The Morrison Center and Lost Grove Brewing are partnering for the Neighborhood Concert series to bring live music to a park near you! This series will help to support local artists and celebrate all the beautiful neighborhoods in Boise. Lost Grove Brewing will be selling beer, wine, and cider. A Guide to Floating the Boise River

Floating the Boise River is one of those iconic summer activities that every Boise local knows and loves. If you are new to the area, or maybe just haven’t gotten around to taking the plunge, there’s a thing or two you’ll want to know before setting out on your float. In this blog post, I will be sharing some helpful tips to ensure a safe and fun time on your river journey. 

1) Bring the right supplies

The Boise River float is about six miles long and can take 2-3 hours to float depending on whether you are going for a casual float or are planning on paddling along the river. With this in mind, make sure you bring the necessities. I always make sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, it can definitely get really hot on the river during the summertime. If you are like me and you burn easily, it also might be a good idea to bring some extra sunscreen. Relocating to a new state, or even city, can feel like an incredibly daunting task. There is a lot that has to be done in order to uproot your life and set out on a new adventure, but there is also so much reward in doing so. In this blog post, I will be sharing my top five tips for a successful and smooth relocation process. 
1. Take multiple trips to the area

It’s obviously important to familiarize yourself with a new place before taking the leap to relocate. A lot of times, the idea we have in our head of a city or state can be really different than it actually is. Prior to moving to Idaho, I had envisioned it as a very rural state with cows all over the place, farmland, etc. While you can definitely find that here, there are plenty of very urbanized areas such as Boise and the surrounding cities. A Guide to Live Music in Boise- Summer 2021

Live music is a huge part of summer in the Boise area. There are so many different events, venues, and artists to choose from, so grab your friends and family for a night of fun. In this blog post, I am sharing my favorite live music events this summer. 

JUMP
Jack’s Urban Meeting Place, ‘JUMP’ is located in downtown Boise and is a great place to listen to local artists. This summer, they are hosting a free outdoor concert series that takes place every other Tuesday, now through September 7th. Starting at 5pm, bring your friends, family, and some blankets or chairs and find a spot to enjoy the show. From 5-8pm two different groups will take the stage and play in the outdoor amphitheater.
